A native of Durham, NC Pierre played football at Appalachian State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in Electronic Media/Broadcasting and Master of Arts in Educational Media. He was a member of three National Championship teams, a two-time All-American, and a three-time All-Southern Conference selection. Currently he serves as the lead analyst for the Appalachian IMG Sports Network where he is the color commentator for Appalachian State football radio broadcasts. He also serves as the color commentator for Appalachian's men's and women's basketball broadcasts on ESPN 3. In addition he is the lead talent for APPVISION, and the co-cost/producer of App State Sports weekly, the official podcast of Appalachian State Athletics. In addition to his sports media duties, he is the Director of Student-Athlete Development at Appalachian. He previously worked as an academic advisor for student-athletes at Appalachian, The Ohio State University, and the University of South Carolina where he worked closely with several head coaches including Urban Meyer, Steve Spurrier, and Will Muschamp. Daimeon played with the Virginia State University Football program where he was a member of the 1996 CIAA championship team and earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology. He currently serves as the co-host of App State Sports Weekly, the official podcast of Appalachian State Athletics. He is the co-anchor for In My Humble...™ and The All Things Sport Podcast. He currently serves as the Sports Media Director for the Bull City Legacy Semi-Professional Team, sports reporter for the Puff TV Morning Convo, and freelance sports writer for various media outlets. He also is the lead anchor for One Hit Promotions, a boxing promotional company based in Durham, NC.
The Boxing Intellect Rudy Mondragón is currently a PhD student in Chicana Studies at The University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses on the sport of boxing to examine racial, ethnic, mestizaje, and national identities as well as the political economy. Rudy's first fight was the 1992 match between legends Julio Cesar Chavez and Hector Macho Camacho. He has been a fan and intellect of the sweet science ever since. He is co-anchor of In My Humble...™ - The Split Decision and co-founder of Bloody Money Boxing, a website dedicated to boxing news and analysis.
A native of Pilot Point, TX, Karl Anderson played linebacker for Appalachian State from 2009-2013 earning all-conference recognition as a senior. After serving as a studio host for Rice University football radio broadcasts through IMG during the 2015 season, Karl joined the Appalachian IMG Sports Network as a field analyst & sideline reporter in 2016. An electronic media / broadcasting and MBA alumnus of Appalachian State, Karl has been working with the Mountaineer’s football team overseeing academics since 2014.
